Lactoferrin with Royal Jelly is prepared with goat milk and royal jelly that supplies nutrients, growth factors for support of immune system in children.
Lactoferrin is a peptide glycoprotein that belongs to the transferrin family, plays a role in binding and transporting iron in the body, as well as immuno modulatory and antioxidant activities, it is a natural anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory that supports the immune system and gut microflora, promote healthy sleep (1-9).
Lactoferrin is a protein naturally found in breastmilk (cow milk and human milk), and is also found in fluids in the eye, nose, respiratory tract, intestine, and elsewhere.
The antiviral properties of lactoferrin make it a great natural supplement that could also be used as an adjunct for COVID-19 and for various other Respiratory Tract Infections (RTIs) according to a team of researchers led by the University of Huddersfield (10).
It was found that Lactoferrin intake may improve sleep condition, especially morning symptoms in children above one year of age. (11-12)
Royal Jelly is a mix of yellow-white secretion produced by the worker honey bees to supply a principal food for queen honeybee. It is rich in minerals (mainly calcium and iron), vitamins (riboflavin, niacin, thiamine and B6, vit E), carbohydrates, and proteins fatty acids, sugars, biotin, sulfur, phosphorus, proteins, and essential amino acids.
Royal jelly for children is a great activator of the immune system since it helps fight infections and has revitalizing properties, increasing the body’s resistance.
Compounds of Royal Jelly like jelleins, royalisin, MRJPs, royalactin, and apisimin could be classified as antimicrobial peptides, appear to be a natural alternative to conventional antibiotics (13)
